Project Experience

Since 1994 I have been working with software and computers, since 1998 as system engineer and IT consultant with and for customers on-site. Since 1999 I take over tasks in project management.

In these years I have seen a lot of different project situations, from administration of mission critical servers up to team lead. My experience has been formed in complex data center environments of finance institutions and outsourcing organizations, but also by the special needs of small and medium businesses. "Small does not mean simple." is an unforgetable statement of an IT manager. The work with dispersed and international teams is as fascinating as the coordination across the boundaries of departments and companies. Solutions for critical project situations have to be found. Technical and organisational process requirements have to be brought into a balance with the abilities and needs of the contributing people.

Mediation as a way to conflict resolution or the usage of mediative elements in problem solving workshops can help in project crisis or other difficult situations.

  • support operation and improvement of a business continuity management (BCM) system
  • project lead concerning Office software upgrade and Windows upgrade for several hundred client systems, including evaluation of compliance issues and assessment with enterprise compliance and IT security
  • project lead of OS migration of a mission critical SAP landscape, across the boundaries of SAP service provider, infrastructure provider and SAP using company
  • preparation of IT technical or IT service management documents (e.g. backup concept, service catalog)
  • consulting for an EAM / IT architecture project (finance): systematical analysis and documentation of process chains, interfaces and dependencies of the applications landscape
  • project management for a datacenter move (responsibility Unix-Server and SAN)
  • (multi) project lead and process improvement for server transition projects of an outsourcer
  • support of a service transition of an outsourcer to east europe (Hungaria)
